1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OKSAN GROUP website, marketplace and related services (the "Platform"), operated by OKSAN GROUP FZ-LLC ("OKSAN", "we", "us") in the United Arab Emirates.

By accessing the Platform, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. UAE Umbrella License

OKSAN operates as a licensed circular economy platform in the United Arab Emirates. Under our umbrella license, eligible home-based creators and artisans ("Vendors") may sell upcycled products through the Platform without needing to obtain a separate trade license for those sales.

Vendors operate under OKSAN's license only for activities carried out through the Platform. Vendors are responsible for complying with all UAE laws and regulations applicable to their products, and for any activity outside the Platform.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract under UAE law.
• You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

4. Orders, Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider; OKSAN does not store your full card details.

An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and you have received a confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel an order due to pricing errors, product unavailability or suspected fraud, in which case you will be refunded in full.

5. Handcrafted and Upcycled Products

Our products are handcrafted from reclaimed and upcycled materials. Slight variations in colour, texture, size and finish are natural and are part of each item's character. Product images are representative and may differ slightly from the item you receive.

6. Delivery, Returns and Refunds

• Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location and Vendor production schedules.
• Please inspect items on delivery and contact us promptly if an item is damaged or not as described.
• Eligible returns and refunds are handled in line with the UAE Consumer Protection Law. Made-to-order and custom items may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

7. Vendor Responsibilities

• Vendors must ensure that listings are accurate and that products are genuinely made from upcycled or sustainable materials as described.
• Vendors must not list prohibited, counterfeit or unsafe items.
• Vendors are responsible for fulfilling orders on time and meeting quality standards set by OKSAN.
• Commissions, payout schedules and related fees are set out in the Vendor agreement provided at onboarding.

8. Intellectual Property

The OKSAN name, logo, Texbrick brand and Platform content are owned by or licensed to OKSAN GROUP FZ-LLC. Vendors retain ownership of their own designs and grant OKSAN a non-exclusive license to display them on the Platform for marketing and sales purposes.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, posting unlawful or misleading content, or using it for any purpose contrary to UAE law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, OKSAN is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate in which OKSAN is licensed. The competent courts of that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

12. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
